Hello! Part of the Silent Moon mission is to help people connect to nature through inner as well as outer sources. In my studies I have learned that art, music and horses all have three things in common; they all involve the environment, invite co-creativity, and drum roll>>>>>> they help create new neural pathways in our brains. This is why Silent Moon Co-Active Coaching integrates all three forms so if you were wondering what the connection is, the connection is in the brain. 🙂 Below are some of my conte crayon works. Being in recovery and being in school at the same time has been extremely beneficial to me. I have used school for therapy and also to get my degree. I highly suggest approaching school in this way, because if you are passionate about something, you will remember it. As we create art, music or relationships, we invite our environment to give it’s input. Although instruction in class was to draw a pot and fabric with conte crayons, for me it was to draw a symbol of my own recovery. It is called “two tears in a bucket”. The meaning behind it is stop crying and start healing. So the combination of school and recovery created my degree. Obviously the skulls are horse skulls. The main objective here is that we create from what is around us at the time. Use everything at your disposal and make it you. In nature there are patterns everywhere, use them and make them personal. No matter how painful, how exciting, whatever the pattern is, use it. Things show up as we progress, as we process and as we understand. This is my story and I’m sticking to it.

Peace

I also have affirmation cards for sale. Some of the images are above and they each have descriptions that combine mythology, history, metaphor and affirmation. Message or call if you are interested in purchasing any of my work.

Thanks!
